A Giant Service to the Sector from RS Holding: 100 Apprentices 100 Masters Project

The automotive sector is passing through a period where technology is developing rapidly, yet the problem of finding qualified technical personnel is deepening day by day. As the leading power of the sector, RS Holding has implemented the “100 Apprentices 100 Masters” social responsibility project to be a remedy for this bleeding wound and to support youth employment. Blending the traditional Ahi culture with the requirements of the modern world, this project is not just an internship program but qualifies as a career school that raises the masters of the future.

On-Site Solution to the Sector’s Biggest Problem

Shaped by the vision of RS Holding Chairman of the Board Ünal Ünaldı, frequently expressed as “not qualified intermediate staff, but sought-after personnel,” the project aims to bring young people studying in vocational high schools into the sector. Aiming to eliminate the technical personnel shortage experienced in the service network throughout Turkey, RS Holding offers young people not just a job, but a sustainable future with this project.

The basic philosophy of the project relies on young people reinforcing the theoretical knowledge they learned at school by putting it into practice at RS Holding’s service points and workshops equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.

Strong Cooperation in Education: Topkapı Schools and RS Academy

One of the strongest pillars of the project is the strategic collaborations made with educational institutions. In this context, the “Education Cooperation Protocol” signed with Topkapı Schools stands out as one of the most concrete examples of industry-school cooperation. Thanks to this protocol, students:

  • On-Site Application: Gain experience on real vehicles under the supervision of expert masters at service centers within RS Holding.
  • Mentorship System: Each apprentice finds the opportunity to work one-on-one with an assigned master (mentor) and learns the subtleties of the profession.
  • Cultural Transmission: Not only technical knowledge but also work discipline, customer relations, and corporate belonging culture are instilled in young people.

Development-Oriented Approach Far From Hierarchy

Contrary to the classical and rigid hierarchical order, the “100 Apprentices 100 Masters” project proceeds in a structure open to communication. The meeting held in June 2025, where RS Holding top management came together with interns and apprentices, revealed the sincerity of the project.

These meetings, where board members sit at the same table with young people, listen to their career goals, and share their experiences, are an indicator of the human-oriented approach of the project. RS Holding views young people not just as employee candidates, but as business partners who will carry the company into the future.

Goal: 100% Employment and Sustainable Success

The ultimate goal of the project is to employ young talents who successfully complete the education process within RS Holding subsidiaries. These young people, trained in critical areas such as bodywork, paint, and mechanics, are candidates to become tomorrow’s head masters and service managers.

With the “100 Apprentices 100 Masters” project, RS Holding continues to both fight against youth unemployment and raise the quality standards of the automotive after-sales services sector.
